To send a photo from your Samsung Innov8 phone using Yahoo! Messenger on Windows 7, you would typically need to transfer the photo from your phone to your computer first. You can do this by connecting your phone to your computer using a USB cable and transferring the photo file. Once the photo is on your computer, follow these steps in Yahoo! Messenger:

  1. Open Yahoo! Messenger and start a conversation with the person you want to send the photo to.
  2. In the chat window, look for an option to send files or share photos (this could be an icon that looks like a paperclip or a camera).
  3. Click on the option to send a file/photo, and a window will open allowing you to browse for the photo on your computer.
  4. Select the photo you want to send and confirm your choice.
  5. The photo will then be sent to the recipient through Yahoo! Messenger.

Please note that Yahoo! Messenger was discontinued in 2018, so if you are using an older version, it may not function as expected, and you might need to use alternative messaging services.

Someone hacked my account and changed my security questions as well as alternate email address. Can I recover my Yahoo Messenger and Mail account?

Answer by Pete Clapp

In this case, account recovery is possible only if you have set up a recovery phone number to send the password reset code to your phone. If you did not attached any number, then the account is lost for good because there is no way you can prove that the stolen account is yours since the person who stole it has all the required info for verification.

There is no way you can delete a sent message. On the local computer you can clear chat history by going to Messenger > Preferences > Conversation History and check Do not keep a history of my conversations.

That was possible in the past but Yahoo secured all the sending and receiving protocols and nowadays it's impossible to tell where the message is coming from regarding IP address, operating system used, etc.

This is a problem with some conflicting DLLs. You can enable the text using the instructions posted at the related question.

After I downloaded Yahoo Messenger, it wasn't installed on my computer and every time at the last stage it failed to install. What should I do?

Answer by Andrew Constandache

Besides its main installation package, the setup also contains Microsoft Visual Runtime 2005/2008 (it differs according to the version of Yahoo Messenger you try to install). Before you install the application, make sure these components are removed from your computer. Also Adobe Flash is a component from which the chat software takes advantage of. For best results, manually remove these components and then try and install again the main package. Also, if you use Windows Vista, 7 or 8 when you try to install the package, make sure you right click the file and select "Run As Administrator". In most of the cases this is the problem encountered by many users.

Try closing your e-mail while logging into the application because you can't be online in two different locations regarding Yahoo services. This situation happens when you are already logged in on another device.

Yahoo has shutdown the only possible way of integrating Yahoo Messenger into websites through Pingbox. I believe there is no solution available at the moment to implement the Messenger into websites.
